==History==

Alla Fofokoy was founded in 1917 by Belos Oisto, hunter and woodcutter originally from Fofokoy, Mentrenalio.

Oisto, like many others in his field, emigrated at a young age, moving to Geitorisma, in the Pento region. At the time, Fofokoy's loggers were the most requested on the market, which found its main center in the region of the great Talamian forests. Oisto was very fond of his city and, setting aside a fair sum from his years in Geitorisma, he returned to Fofokoy. Passionate about football since childhood, after having played in the lower category teams of the capital of Pento, he decided to invest his money in founding a new football club. The city enthusiastically welcomed the birth of its first football representative and the mayor immediately handed over the keys of the city arena to Oisto, to have the home games played at what was then known as the "Politikammos Arena". The team started with the regional minor leagues.

The players were initially woodcutters friends of Oisto and he himself, for the first year, played for the team, before suffering a serious injury to his right fibula. As the passion for football grew throughout Talamia and Clinepelas United dominated the Alfa League, Alla Fofokoy amassed excellent results. To complete the climb to the top flight, the red and black club needed just ten years to live. Alla Fofokoy's debut in the Alfa League took place in the 1927-1928 season, after finishing second in the Beta League the previous year. With surprising results, in the first season in the top flight, the team was saved, ending the season in mid-table.

The following year marked a turning point in the club's history. With a large financial investment, the Purphero family bought the team, whose maintenance costs in the Alfa League had become too excessive for Oisto alone. Alla Fofokoy began aiming for the summit for the first time. A formidable transfer campaign allowed the team to position first fourth, then third and finally to win the first Scudetto in the 1930-1931 season, leaving FK Katacra behind and definitively interrupting the period of domination of Clinepalas United. The following decade was dominated by the Archers: three wins and three second places, before Talamian football surrendered first to the strength of Fortis Epops and then to the economic crisis.

Between 1944 and 1957, the team experienced a period of stagnation in the upper parts of the Alfa League standings, but never managed to replicate the successes of previous years. In the spring of 1957, founder Belos Oisto suddenly died of cardiac arrest. That year the team was in the relegation zone and wasn't collecting good results. The bad news, however, lifted the hearts of the players and, in a landscape that was increasingly neglecting football, Alla Fofokoy's was a real exception. The city and the fans flocked en masse into the stadiums, following the Archers everywhere, who with the thrust of their audience overturned the rankings, collecting a miraculous second place at the end of the season. The feat was repeated three years later, before the Alfa League finally stopped due to lack of money.

When Talamian football broke up, Alla Fofokoy was among the strongest and richest teams. For this it was not difficult to dominate the Mentrenalio Championship, the regional tournament which, together with the other six, replaced the Alfa League. Over the next five seasons, Alla Fofokoy took three wins, a second place and a third place. The 1965 victory allowed the team to qualify for the next, first edition of the newly formed Alfa League, in which the seven winners of the previous year's regional tournaments took part. With that success, Fofokoy excluded for the first time in history the city of Clinepalas from the top flight, and with it the teams SF Lampride and Ptoco, which had always taken part in the Alfa League since 1895.

When the Alfa League was brought back to life, Alla Fofokoy immediately established itself as the strongest team, winning the new debut season and the next, in 1966 and 1967. The Purphero family had invested heavily in the youth sector in previous years. of the club and the city became a veritable hotbed of talent. Among all stood Ensem Eio, a very young eighteen who had made his debut in the first team in 1964, at the age of sixteen. The attacking midfielder became an idol and contributed to the creation of the new collective imagination of the football player. Man-symbol of the team, he soon became its captain and driver, playing his entire career with the Archers. Eio became the absolute record holder of Alla Fofokoy, captain of the national team and is still the footballer with the most goals scored in the Alfa League (212). For the next fifteen years, Ensem Eio led his team to win the title once again (1979-1980) and laid the foundation for the great successes of the next decade. Eio retired from professional football in 1981. On that occasion, the club decided to withdraw the number 48 shirt, his year of birth.
In the 1980s, the team witnessed its second change of ownership. The Purphero family, who for two generations had led the club to win six league titles and become one of the strongest teams in the entire nation, decided to sell the team to Oiktirmon Kampe, owner of the most important pharmaceutical company in Fofokoy, KampeOra. Reaping the good fruits and making them mature properly, Kampe entrusted the team bench to his icon, Ensem Eio, who at 34 became the youngest coach in the Alfa League. The determination and passion, together with the enthusiastic cheer that was reinvigorated by the choice of the new president, led Alla Fofokoy to be part of the so-called "Big Four". Along with Fortis Epops, Clinepalas United and FK Katacra, Fofokoy's team split the top four positions for the next ten years, winning the league three times and finishing second on two occasions.

The following decade did not confer the excellent results. Due to a dispute with the management, Ensem Eio left the bench in 1990, after having awarded the team his ninth championship. In 1992, Kampe himself decided to sell the company again but without finding a buyer. In order not to make the team fail and to preserve its good name and sporting history, the municipality bought it. Reduced funds and mismanagement led Alla Fofokoy to relegate for the first time since 1927 to the Beta League and to remain there for three years, between 1995 and 1998. The city found a buyer only in 1997: Dia Psuke, current president of the club . Psuke brought Ensem Eio back to the bench in 2000 and Alla Fofokoy in the top flight, starting a new round of victories. In the first twenty years of 2000, the Archers have won the Alfa League three times, collecting a second place as well. Eio has managed to evolve his idea of football, basing his strategy completely on defense and giving life to the fearsome "FAS", the three-way defensive line starring Eletheu Atele (current team captain), Timo Fulatto and Yante Skatezzo. Alla Fofokoy is currently the fourth most winning club in Alfa League history, behind Fortis Epops, Clinepalas United and Ptoco.

==Colours and badge==

Red and black are the colours which have represented the club throughout its entire history. They were chosen by the founder, Belos Oisto. The city of Fofokoy is famous for its loggers, many of whom move to the nearby Pento region, where they find work in the large forests. Oisto was one of the most famous woodcutters born in Fofokoy and, returning to his hometown after setting aside a small fortune, he decided to found a representative football team of his city. In honor of his craft, he decided that his team would have wore the same colors and patterns as the shirts worn by Fofokoy's loggers.

Thus were born the uniforms and the crest, red and black checkered with dull green details - to remember the nearby region of Pento, where Oisto lived for all his youth.

The away kit has always been completely green, with red and black details, therefore in inverted colors compared to the first. Over the years, the color of shorts and socks has always changed but they have been black for two decades now.

==Stadium==

Since their foundation, back in 1917, Alla Fofokoy always played their matches in the Toxeutà arena. It was built in 1882 and for the first forty years of its life it served as a civic arena for the city of Fofokoy. Its name was Politikammos Arena. Inside it hosted athletics, rugby and numerous other sports competitions, among which archery stood out. The Archery World Cup took place there every two years.

When the football team was founded in 1917, the mayor of Fofokoy immediately proposed Politikammos as the home stadium for the newly born club. Oisto accepted the proposal and since that day, Alla Fofokoy have never moved home. The name of Politikammos changed into Toxeutà when Oisto died, in 1957. The stadium was named after Oisto's nickname.

The structure was completely renovated in 2013, together with the surrounding area, following the reconstruction campaign of the Fofokoy area which had become more problematic. On 1 August 2013, a banner reading #FofokoyUinaToxeutà (Fofokoy for Toxeutà) was hoisted at the gates and the next day fans watched their team's first match in the new stadium. Alla Fofokoy won 2-0 against Ptoco.
