Loïc Maçon-Petrault (<small>low-EEK muh-sonn puh-troh; /lɔ.ik ma.sɔ̃ pətʁo/</small>) is a retired Kelssek professional football player who played most notably for Directus. His transfer fee of £18 million (ϑ 6.3 million) when he joined Directus from Unioneers is the record for a Kelssek player. He is the top all-time goalscorer for the Kelssek national football team.

Maçon-Petrault began playing youth football at age nine for CS Saint-Rémy. With his aerospace engineer mother taking a job with Celestar Aircraft, his family moved to Outineau when he was aged 15 and he joined the youth program of CF Outineau. He would later explain the move as due to Outineau's "better jazz music scene".
Playing career
Maçon-Petrault made his senior debut for CF Outineau in the Kelssek Championship aged 18, coming on as a substitute in a league match against Coquitlam United. He made 21 appearances, 13 of them off the bench as an understudy for Keled Petheô, and scored nine goals to help Outineau to win the league title. He became a regular starter the following season in a strike partnership with 19-year old Pridnestriovan Radomir Primakov. But after a strong start to the season, a decline in form saw Outineau finish the season in sixth place, though he attracted transfer interest from abroad.

The following season he signed with Euran club Unioneers for a transfer fee of £4.5 million and was an immediate success, coming second in the Newcomer of the Season award to the legendary Laborious Hawk. In his second year at the club his breakthrough as a key goalscorer helped Unioneers finish sixth and qualify for the Challengers Cup. He spent a total of four seasons at Unioneers.

Ahead of the Euraleague 42 season he signed with Directus for a transfer fee of £18 million, a new record for a Kelssek player, and didn't miss a step as he scored 20 goals in his first season at the club, although hopes of a league title faded as Directus finished 7 points behind the Laboriois Hawk-led Bastion in second place. His first trophy with Directus was the 49th National Cup, won 2-1 against Spartangrad. Maçon-Petrault scored the equalizing goal in the 33rd minute from short range finishing off a brilliant move by Adam Woodman. Maçon-Petrault was also the Euraleague's top scorer that season with 22 league goals. He won the Golden Boot again in season 51, again notching up 22 goals in a tie for the top scorer honours with Bravura Harper.

The league title however eluded Directus until his ninth and final year at the club. At this time Maçon-Petrault formed part of a trio of veteran strikers with Stewart Robson and compatriot Thor Ibrahim Ahmad. Maçon-Petrault scored twice in a 3-1 over Oakstone on the final day of the season to clinch the championship. Although he had two years left on his contract, with transfer rumours swirling this would end up as his last match for Directus.

The transfer rumours were borne out in the close season as Maçon-Petrault joined the SRS Superleague's Jaglan Royals for an undisclosed fee (though believed to have been around USD 1.9 million). He was noted for his leadership in the locker room as well as leading the team in goals, as they finished fifth and entered the Challengers Cup.
