			By the Vanorian calendar, there are fourteen months of thirty days each that make up a year and full rotation of Silverymoon around the system's star. This elongated year sees an additional month of fall and spring as there are more transitional months from the depths of heat experienced in the summer and the cold that comes in the winter. These months are named by way of old elven names, where a name often described what was occurring in the action or at that time. The Vanorian calendar is odd in that is does not split the winter over the year boundary but it is the division of autumn and winter. The calendar is as follows, with the original Old Elven meaning in parenthesis:
