Etymology
With the exception of Karinthian, all of the native names for Farfadillis derive from Proto-Faroloferdullaelan farhadils, which comes from farha "scorched land" and adil "ours". Languages from other branches of the Farf family eventually adopted the Faroloferdullaelan version. The Karinthian name for Farfadillis, Äb'rähsizr'jwad' derives from äbrä "fire" or "person" and hsizr'jwad "land".
