The Ides of March Cup,often abbreviated as IoM, was an annual association football competition played between clubs from Astograth and Polar Islandstates. Held for 21 editions, it consisted of a single match every 15 March between the current champions of the Astograthian First Division and the Polarian Divisjon One. It commemorated the Polarian national team's international debut against Astograth, held on 15 March the year prior to the first Ides of March Cup. The hosting of the Ides of March Cup alternated between each nation, with all proceeds going to charity.
The Cup featured memorable repeated clashes SK Franz Josef City and Royal Rumiatzi; Jan Mayen Islanders and Iturributa United; FC Axel Heiburg and Echegoyan FC; East Franz Athletic and Sporting Iturributa; and SK Franz Josef City and Ituraitz FC, with the last of these taking place four times. SK Franz Josef City and Ituraitz FC each won the Cup four times, holding the joint record for most victories.
