The 17th Summer Olympics (officially the Games of the XVII Olympiad) is an international multi-sport event being held in New Oxford and Whitehaven in Afanc Strait, and Jolbonopolis, Quebec and Shingoryeo. The opening ceremony was held simultaneously at New Oxford Coliseum in Afanc Strait and Jolbonopolis Coliseum in Jolbonopolis. Events in 32 official sports and four demonstration sports were held over eighteen days. The demonstration sports were boccia, goalball, pickleball, and summer vigil fasting.

Ceni participates in the Olympics as part of The Afanc Strait Olympic Committee, which covers the countries of Ceni and New Gelderland due to the inactivity of Ceni's national Olympic committee (NOC). The Afanc Strait was thus the host NOC for official purposes, although all the events it was responsible for were held in Ceni, a constituent nation of Afanc Strait.
