Club football d'Outineau is a professional football club based in Outineau, Kelssek. One of the country's oldest sport clubs, it has won the Kelssek Championship 13 times, ranking as the second-most successful club in Kelssek's highest league. With five Patriotes Cup wins, it is the most successful club in Kelssek's national cup tournament. It is also one of three Kelssek clubs to have won a league and cup double, and the only one to have won a league and IFCF Champions League double. Based at city-owned stadium Parc de la Crémazie for most of its history, the club held high-demand matches (mostly league matches against main rivals Langlois Océanic and Kirkenes FC) at Stade Olympique. With growing ticket demand, the club decided to move to Stade Olympique for all home matches beginning in KFL season 71. CF Outineau also holds the milestone of being the first Kelssek club to reach the group stage of the UICA Champions' Cup.
The club's two main rivalries are against Kirkenes FC, known as the War of the Crowns (Guerre des Couronnes). This is an extremely bitter rivalry named after a medevial conflict that highlights ethnic, religious, and lingustic divides between Anglian-Protestant and Frankish-Catholic nations. Of equal importance though with generally fewer hate crimes is the Battaile de Beaulac (Battle of Beaulac) against Langlois Océanic. Outineau and Océanic are the two oldest and most successful clubs in Beaulac. There is also a less intense Derby of the Valleys against CS Saint-Rémy; the name comes from the two cities being located in adjacent watersheds.
Fan culture
The club's most popular fan media outlet is Tourtière surgelée (Frozen Mince Pie), a riff on the Crémazie's below-average match day catering, which has expanded its presence to a blog network, YourTube videos, and a Honkr memes account. The apparently bizarre name of another popular fan media outlet refers to an infamous homophobic "hot mic" incident, where due to a technical error in the broadcast of a Patriotes Cup match KBC commentator Keith Holmes - unaware he was still being broadcast live - said to his commentary partner that the home support was lacklustre and that Outineau fans lacked passion because it was a city of "latte-sipping cock munchers". This was soon adopted as the name of a fan-published magazine Latte-Sipping Cock Muncher Quarterly (which was in fact published bi-weekly to be sold at home matches), or in shorter and more family-friendly terms as LSCMQ. It has now adopted exclusively a weekly podcast format and live match watch-along format.
At home matches the club song Rouge-et-bleu, nous sommes Outineau is traditionally played before kick-off. A well-known song in the stands goes: One love, Outineau, tous les autres sont pleins de marde!.
