The Sylestone National Football Team represents Sylestone in football and has done so since the start of the 72nd edition of the Baptism of Fire. While they are yet to produce the goods in an important international tournament, good performances in the IAC10 and Mike Sarzo Memorial Trophy have shown the world how classy they are.

Background Information

Nickname

The Appliances, named such because that's what they are.

Style

Sylestone uses a defensive 5-3-2 formation, but with star strikers. The midfielders play all around the ground and can assume striker and defender positions when required. Being Sentients, predicting their moves is hard and the coach, the Toaster, much prefers 1-0 wins to 3-2 as he is very defensive oriented.

Rivalries

Three of Sylestone's biggest rivalries are against The Jovannic, Tikariot and Megistos, all up-and-coming nations in the football world. Their other rivalry is against Ethane, a side of whom they have close diplomatic relations with. They have also played four games against Poafmersia.
