OOC notes
This was the first World Cup to use the LISA scorination algorithm. The specific mechanics of LISA led to a number of notable high-scoring results in qualification, several of which (most notably a 15-4 win for Valanora against Golfo central) were unique scorelines in World Cup history (a phenomenon known as scorigami). A modified version of LISA was later created (and used in World Cup 101) that essentially prevented teams winning by large margins from also conceding multiple goals.
