The 16th Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XVI Olympiad, are an international, multi-sport event celebrated in the cities of Prescott, Electrum and Twin Cities, Quebec and Shingoryeo.

Prescott and Twin Cities' joint bid for the Olympics won the vote for hosting rights unopposed. The vote was held according to the process specified by the Olympic Charter.
Venues and infrastructure
A number of venues are re-used.
On the Electrumite side of the Olympics, various venues from Prescott's hosting of the XI, XII and XIII Winter Olympics were used in the Prescott City Cluster. Blackstone Marina in Port Grenville were used in the XV Summer Olympics. Numerous football venues across Electrum were used in the X and XV Summer Olympics.
On the Quebecois side of the Olympics, numerous gridiron football or lacrosse venues across Quebec and Shingoryeo were used in the qualifying events of the XI Summer Olympics. Numerous side arenas of Yongma College, Acadie Institute of Technology, Beaudoin and Calvert Colleges are used for the course of basketball, handball and volleyball group stages.
