The Games of the XII Olympiad was an international multi-sport event which was celebrated in the cities of Novonaya, Kelssek and Provinsk, Vekaiyu through July and August 2017. They were first Olympic Games to be hosted by a non-human nation, as Vekaiyu has a primarily vulpine population. The spectacular opening ceremonies at Provinsk's Yemestrovi Revetraveru are widely considered as one of the best in Olympic history.

One of the most significant controversies were suspicions that Gragastavia's equestrian competitors were utilizing camels disguised as horses, but nothing could be proven.
