The Farf Freitball Ligá (abbreviated FFL) was the top professional association football division of the Farf league system. It was contested by 20 teams throughout most of its history, with the three lowest placed teams relegated to the Farf Freitball Ligá 2 and replaced by the top three teams in that division. Towards its final years, the FFL made up the entre Farf league system, with teams having to qualify for it via state league performance. Under this system, the league was contested by 20 teams, except for its final year, in which it was contested by 10 teams. A total of 8 clubs managed to win it in its 36-season run.
