Most successful teams
The International Basketball Championships, as with World Cup of Hockey and World Bowl, have seen many multi-time winners over the years. The tournament, in particular, has seen a solid number of four-peats with three - Sarzonia, Saint Kanye and Banija have won the tournament in different eras of the tournament.
The tournament is also remembered for natural mediocrity of the Quebecois national basketball teams, where they have reputedly won once and lost eight other times in the semifinals. It is rumoured that for every semifinals loss, a co-coach, a general manager, or a Basketball Quebec President, is replaced as a matter of necessary personnel change.
