The QOVO.1 League (also shortened as the QOVO.1 or QOVO) is the highest professional men's and women's volleyball league in Quebec and Shingoryeo. Both the QOVO.1 and QOVO.2 leagues are run by the Royal Quebecois Volleyball Federation (RQVF). Founded in 1994, it is considered one of the most pre-eminent leagues in the multiverse alongside Mytanar TOP League and Bollonischian Volleyball League, with its clubs having obtained major international successes. It is a 12-team league on both men's and women's divisions from October to March/April. The double round robin regular season is followed by three-staged playoffs, with the winners being named the QOVO champions for their respective divisions.
Both the men's and women's champions qualify for the VCL, with three slots currently available for Quebec and Shingoryeo as one of top 6 ranked associations on the IVF coefficients. The allocation of third slot, in the meanwhile, varies on edition-to-edition basis. On even-numbered IVF cycles, men's finalists qualify for the third slot, while the women's finalists receive the third slot on odd-numbered IVF cycles. In the case where men's and women's champions come from same multi-sport club, there will be a third spot allocated to the finalists of the division without a second slot.
The QOVO league succeeded the Coupe du Roi Championship, a semiprofessional circuit which was held from 1952 to 1993.
