Royal Rumiatzi (Astograthian: Errege Rumiatzi [eˈrege ruˈmjat͡s̪i]) is a professional football club based in Rumiatzi, Astograth.
Founded as Rumiatzi FC in the 541st year of the Astograthian calendar as a splinter club of Rumiatzi United, they have traditionally worn white shirts with blue shorts and stockings as their home colours. They were the first football club to be bestowed the suffix of "Royal", receiving it in 611 by grace of Grand Duke Aitor III. They have played at the 70,000-capacity Knights' Stadium in northern Rumiatzi since 622, and were founding members of the Astograthian First Division in 634; they are one of three Astograthian clubs to have always played in the top flight. Royal Rumiatzi hold many long-standing rivalries, most notably with Athletic Club Rumiatzi, Ituraitz FC, Iturributa United and Sporting Iturributa.
Since the formation of the First Division, Royal Rumiatzi have established themselves as a major force in Astograthian football, winning a record 11 First Division titles and 9 Royal Cups. Internationally, they have won one edition each of the Cup Winners' Cup, the Rushmore Copa de Campeones and the Aéropag Football Invitational, as well as one Ides of March Cup. Their best result in the UICA Champions’ Cup was reaching the quarter-finals twice. Royal Rumiatzi are consistently rated among the best Astograthian teams on the UICA club rankings, their highest-ever being 12th.
