WGPC 20 is the 20th World Grand Prix Championship season. This season's championship is being contested by fourteen teams over a number of ten Grands Prix from the spring to the autumn. It started with the Liventian Grand Prix and will be concluded with Esmerel Grand Prix. Drivers and teams compete for the titles of World Drivers' Champion and World Constructors' Champion, respectively. iBen Toralmintii, driving for Tropicorp, is the reigning Drivers' Champion, while Badai Angin Tim Motorsport, the reigning Constructors' Champion, did not return for the season.

Team Changes

Badai Angin, current champions, and Teusbank TMW Rennsport left the sport. Scuderia Orange Cow, WGP2 season 5 champions was promoted from WGP2. Urotovsky-Gatutin returned after not participating in WGPC 19. Sivaleinen LCR Origas, from Mertagne, and Pressley Racing, from Tumbra, joined as newcomer teams. Bitten Heroes GPE pulled its support from the joint team with Fireline, and Eminent dropped its Fireline+Heroes pretitle. Six-time World Champions Carvenlo had part of its assets sold to Portland Racing Team, and was renamed as Portland-Carvenlo.
