WGPC 20 is the 20th World Grand Prix Championship season. This season's championship is being contested by fourteen teams over a number of ten Grands Prix from the spring to the autumn. It started with the Liventian Grand Prix and will be concluded with Esmerel Grand Prix. Drivers and teams compete for the titles of World Drivers' Champion and World Constructors' Champion, respectively. iBen Toralmintii, driving for Tropicorp, is the reigning Drivers' Champion, while Badai Angin Tim Motorsport, the reigning Constructors' Champion, did not return for the season.

Team Changes
Badai Angin, current champions, and Teusbank TMW Rennsport left the sport. Scuderia Orange Cow, WGP2 season 5 champions was promoted from WGP2. Urotovsky-Gatutin returned after not participating in WGPC 19. Cygnus Motorsport Team from Esmerel, Sivaleinen LCR Origas from Mertagne, and Pressley Racing from Tumbra, joined as newcomer teams. Bitten Heroes GPE pulled its support from the joint team with Fireline, and Eminent dropped its Fireline+Heroes pretitle. Six-time World Champions Carvenlo had part of its assets sold to Portland Racing Team, and was renamed as Portland-Carvenlo.
Driver Changes
With Badai Angin out, Dom Falepeau was invited to join Portland Carvenlo, with R.L. Cruisin. Janne Laukanen, that doubled as Carvenlo Driver and Nexus Racing Reserve, then moved properly to the Nimbus team, leaving JeanMercer-Daly without a seat. Daly was later confirmed as Nexus reserve driver. Samantha Blaatschapen was promoted in Pryofrs-Bilar, leaving Dario Nulkeschlager without a seat. He would later become a reserve in the new team, Pressley Racing. Darian Vilau replaced Anola Melani in Kaylan, after her sudden disappearance. Another promoted driver was Aaron Dering, replacing Kinu Luminna in Viska. In the other seat of the Aurunan team, Olivia Stone was replaced by Sara Luna who left Tropicorp, where iBen Toralmintii was joined by the newcomer Ji So-Yeong. Skiia Vialiv, formerly a Tropicorp reserve, joined the returned Urotovsky-Gatutin along the Fleftic Adonis Fitzpatrick, promoted from the team stint in WGP2. WGP2 Champions, Scuderia Orange Cow also promoted their duo of Jordan Crowe and Batu Tuvshinbayar. Also moving from WGP2, Angela Tan Fang Ling and Bryce Yannec found seats in the newcomer teams Cygnus and Pressley respectively. Cocoabo #23, formerly in the WGPC Motorworks team, joined Lane Carter in Race Eelandi.
Eminent WGPC Team and Preston Racing kept the same drivers from the previous season.
