The World Grand Prix Two Season 5, usually shortened to WGP2 5 or WGP2 V, is an open-wheel racing category that serves as the second tier of open-wheel racing, below WGPC. As the championship is a spec series, all teams and drivers competing in the championship will run cars with the same specifications of tyres and engines.

The fifth season of the WGP2 is expected to feature a total of 14 weeks of racing, 11 of which will feature Grands Prix. The first two will be test weeks and there will be a non-championship race half the championship. However, due to few teams still having open seats by the first racing weekend, the WGPO and the respective team owners decided to delegate the WGP2 race in Hodori as a non-championship race, and three WGP2 events have been set as a feature-sprint race configuration. The WGPC organization published the following calendar, however, it's regarded as projected, not definitive [source].
