The Kohnhead National Football Team represents Kohnhead in international soccer competitions. The team is controlled by the Kohnheadian Footballing Committee and is a member of the region 10000 Islands an independent sporting region.
History
First Year 200 (BOF-WC 85 qualifiers first half)
While Kohnhead was around and thriving for a while it wasn't until year 200 that they went international with their footballing deciding to enter into the Baptism of Fire 72 where in one of the most crowded BOFs ever they made it to the Round of 16 making it far for the 56 team field. However their first match was not in the Baptism of Fire as they took on fellow BOF entrant Riena in a friendly playing to a 2-2 draw.
Our BOF group consisted of us, Tequilo, South Newlandia, Twicetagria, Revatnagar, Baggieland, and Havynwilde. We started off the tournament well with a 3-1 win against Revatnagar which led to us to a second place finish in the group and a round of 32 match against Maccian where we would win on penalties. Ultimately we were knocked out by The Grearish Union in a match that went 2 hours.
We managed to win a 16 team friendly tournament in the second Wonder Cup hosted by Qasden right before the World Cup and it remains our only football silverware to this day. We sent our best team and took down the "B" and "C" squads of nations like Baker Park, Cassadaigua, and Darmen's U-23s before beating Bolgano twice in the finals to win.
The Wonder Cup win and Baptism of Fire result gave us a lot of confidence for a good result heading into our first qualifying attempt for World Cup 85. We opened qualifiers with a 3-3 draw against a team ranked over 100 places higher than us in Gyatso-Kai which really set the tone for how we would perform. Halfway through the tournament we sat in 4th place of our 13 team group (top 2 would qualify) in complete defiance of any predictions. We had been as high as tied for second and had managed to take down top 50 ranked Busoga Islands.
Second Year 201 (WC 85 qualifiers second half-IAC 10)
The second half of qualifiers saw us stay competitive in the race for second place but as it was our first cycle and we were in a tough group we just couldn't get it done and a 5-4 defeat to Drawkland on the second to last matchday eliminated our World Cup dreams as we finished a very good 5th in the group. The future looked very bright for Kohnhead football.
Immediately following qualifiers Kohnhead received an invite to participate in Cup of Harmony 77 where they made it to the Round of 16 before bowing out to eventual champs Kandorith by one goal. Despite being a pot 4 of 5 team we managed to win our group beating teams like New Lusitania and Eastfield Lodge in the process. In Independent Associations Championship 10 we once again won our group this team defeating highly ranked Port Ember 3-2 in a match that will go down in Kohnheadian history before once again bowing out to the eventual champs in the Round of 16, this time in the form of Poafmersia. We started to see the trend of losing in the Round of 16 or to the eventual champs.
Struggles from 202-203 (WC 86 qualifers-COH 78)
Kohnhead came into World Cup 86 Qualification as a pot 4 team ranked 74th in the World and expecting to do great things. It started out well with a 3-3 draw against pot 3 side Geektopia but things soon fell apart. A 1-0 loss to 257th ranked Sultanate of Oontaz, a draw against Indusse, and another 1-0 loss this time to unranked Libonesia doomed us. Kohnhead were also embarrassed 6-2 by Geektopia in our second meeting. In the end we finished 7th out of 10 with a disappointing 18 points in 18 matches and Coach Christopher Kohnhead was fired midway through the qualifiers.
We still earned an invite to Cup of Harmony 78 where we did not do quite as well as last time under new Manger Michael White of South Newlandia. We once again opened a Cup of Harmony with a match against New Lusitania although this time we lost, eventually we squeaked into the next round with a 4-1 rout of The Orion Isles before losing on penalties to [HUElavia]]. The team now sets their sights on Independent Associations Championship 11

Uniforms and Crest
Kohnhead doesn't have an official Crest and instead have used the National Flag on their uniforms since their inception. Considering they have only competed in two World Cup Cycles they have only used on set of uniforms.
The Home Uniform consists of red and white stripes on the shirt with the last name and numbers in blue. The pants are blue with a flag on the right knee and a white number on the left. The socks are just red.
The Away Uniform is a red shirt with the last name and number in black. The pants are white with again a flag on the right knee and a black number on the left. The socks are just blue.
The Keeper Uniform is entirely blue with dark numbers.
The Kohnheadian jerseys were made for them by No Nonsense Sportswear.
Rivalries
Kohnhead currently have no main rivals in the sport of football and are considered to be the best team in 10000 Islands by far. However two newer nations in Murphtannia and Megistos are on the rise and could be threats for that position in the coming years, we could see a rivalry brew between Kohnhead and either one.
Supporters
Kohnhead fans are extremely loyal and agressive that will travel across the Multiverse to see their beloved Brains play. The main colors of Kohnhead are white, red, and blue so many fans will dress up in these while watching the taem play. Before every home game each player is announced and does a little dance while called out of the locker room. Fans often sing the official Kohnhead fight song called All in the Brain before kickoff which intimidates opponents.
Home stadiums
The Kohnhead National Football Team plays in different stadiums, but have played in 5 main ones since their inception. Kohnhead City Park in Kohnhead City home of Kohnhead City FC was used for their first game but wasn't used again until World Cup 86 qualifiers where it split matches with 3 other stadiums. Those were Jordan Street Stadium in Kohnface City home of FC Kohnface City, Patterson Oil Arena in Swisston City home of Swisston City FC, and [H and G Mobile Stadium]] in Nickelson home of Nickelson FC. For World Cup 85 qualifiers, Orange Bull Arena also in Kohnhead City was used.

Competitive Record
World Cup/Cup of Harmony
Kohnhead has participated in two cycles of World Cup football and have failed to reach the World Cup in either instead having to voyage into the Cup of Harmony both times. The first qualifying cycle went extremely well while the second went poor, both times we have made it out of the Group Stage of the Cup of Harmony, our best run was in CoH 77 where we went to the round of 16 before losing to eventual champs Kandorith.
