Footnotes
1The members of Parliament representing the Conservative Party (Lee Islands) and the Frecmentan National Congress were not elected in 2045, rather they were appointed by the Esportivan Darmen Regional Assembly upon Esportivan Darmen's integration with Darmen. These two seats are therefore not represented in the diagram.

The Parliament of Darmen is the national legislature of Darmen. The Parliament meets at the National Parliament Building in Scott City. It presently consists of 221 members and is led by the Speaker of Parliament, Alex Quinn.

Eligibilty

In order to be eligible for membership in the Parliament, candidates must be:

  • at least 18 years old;
  • received a favorable grade in the University Entrance Exam;
  • have not committed any serious crimes;
  • they may not concurrently be a member of the Executive Cabinet or any Municipal council; and
  • they may not be a sitting judge, or active duty police officer or member of the National Defense Force.

Although the Constitution does not require candidates to be citizens of Darmen, it does require them to have their primary residence in the constituency they represent.
