The 2015–16 New Angus Premier League was the first season of the New Angus Premier League, the highest division of New Angusian football. The season began in September 2015.

Twelve teams contested the league: AFC Montrose, Arbroath Rovers, Birkhill Rovers, Brechin Victoria, Dundee Athletic, Dundee City, Friockheim, Glamis, Lochee FC, Monifieth Town, Montrose City and Myrekirk FC.

Tournament format and regulations

Format

Each team will play each other 3 times, a total of 33 matches. Once this first section is complete, the league will split into two groups of 6 teams each, each team will then play each other once more for a total of 5 matches. By the season's end each side will have played 38 matches.

Promotion and relegation

Before the beginning of the season, the New Angus FA had planned to add a second league, however this did not materialise.
