AS Bezieres is a professional Valladar football club based in Bezieres, Foix, who play in the Valladar Liga-1, the highest level of the Valladar football league system. It was established in 1956 with the merger of three clubs from Bezieres: Olympique Bezierien, Foix SC, and Stade Foixien (who withdrew from the merged team five years later), and inherited the membership of Olympique into both the AFF and VFA, entering the Foix state championship in 1957. Once there, Les Rouges (as well as Fontvielle Impact some decades later) became a threat to the domination previously displayed by Étoile Verte and set a record of 14 state championships won in a row between 1960 and 1973. L'ASB were a founding member of the Valladar Super League, and have competed in the top flight every season. They play their home matches at the Stade de Foix-Jules Picot, a state-of-the-art stadium able to seat 63,170 people and located in the northern zone of the city, close to the Bezieres-Montreux highway.

Up to the 64th Valladar Liga-1 season, Bezieres is the club with the third most Liga-1 championships, with 11 titles. Les Rouges also became the first Valladar winners of the Cup Winners' Cup, being the first club to win the competition thrice in a row in its 15th, 16th, and 17th editions. Bezieres have fierce rivalries with fellow Foixien club Fontvielle Impact, whom they face at least twice a year in the Derby du Foix, and Real Campo Grande, whom they face in the Illirian Derby, as well as Metropolis Alligators and crosstown rivals Étoile Verte. The club's traditional kit colour is red, with white being the first colour choice for alternate kits.

Bezieres and their predecessor clubs were born from the bourgeois high and middle classes of Bezierien society, in direct contrast to the popular and worker origins of crosstown rivals Étoile Verte, however, with Les Rouges's success and Les Verts's consequent decline, the fanbase for the former has enlarged to include supporters from all classes of society, completely dwarfing Étoile Verte's one. L'ASB also enjoy significant popularity in most of the Foix state, except in Fontvielle, where both Impact and Olympique lead fan preferences. Precisely matches against Fontvielle Impact, dubbed as the Derby du Foix, are the most expected ones in the Foix state (and also rate highly in the rest of Valladares), with the Impact-ASB rivalry being another chapter in the rivalry among the state's two biggest cities, exacerbated by the nation-wide success of both sides. Real Campo Grande (with whom they contest the Illirian Derby as representatives of the two main cities in the historic Iliria region) are Bezieres' other historical rival, while another rivalry with Metropolis Alligators is growing based on the success of both clubs.
