Series A is the top level of the Darmeni football league system. It currently features 27 clubs split into two conferences: the Northern, which has 13 teams and the Southern, which has 14 teams. Clubs play a regular season schedule of 34 games. At the end of the regular season, the top seven teams in each conference advance to the playoffs, which are contested in a single-elimination format; while the three clubs with the worst record are relegated to Series B.

MTK Kingsville are the most successful club to date, having won the league title eight times.
