The Ignace Award is the national film award of Quebec and Shingoryeo, to honour the best Quebeco-Shingoryeoite and international films of the year. The nominations are made, and then selected by the industrial and cultural professionals of the film and television sector who are named to the Shingoryeoite Academy of Film and Television Arts (SAFTA). The nationally televised ceremony is held in Joongyeong every Lunar New Year weekend. The location has changed over the first decades, but has since stabilised. The event was held over two nights at the Royal Opera House from 2015 to 2037, before moving to the Royal Walton Hall for the 2038 ceremony, where it has stayed since.

The Ignace Award is internationally recognised as the highest honour in the Quebeco-Shingoryeoite Cinema, equivalent to the Bataclan Awards for television, Baekrok Award for theatre, and the Goldberg Awards for music. The award statue is named by one of SAFTA's founders, Park Gwang-Wook, who named the award after the St. Ignatius of Loyola. The 121st Ignace Awards ceremony took place on 12th of February, 2072. Pisinoe, directed by Oh Wook-Whan, won the Wilfrid-Pellan Award for best film.
