The Osarian Football Association (abbr. OFA) is the governing body of football in Osarius and is based in the capital, Mount Crown. It was formed in 2103, to formalise the organisation of football in the nation, and oversee the fledgling OFA Golden League – the first professional football league in Osarius. In 2175, the OFA joined the World Cup Committee and began entering WCC-sanctioned events.
History
Background
Activities
The OFA sanctions all competitive football matches in Osarius, and notably operates a regional elite academy system, which selects and trains the brightest young talent in each of the seven regions of the country. These academies were designed to train the best players in Osarius in "the Way of the Firebird", with a view to instilling a "national style" which would carry through to the senior team and perpetuate success at international level. In modern times, this is less relevant, given the OFA's disinclination to enter WCC-sanctioned competition in recent decades.
As the representative organisation for Osarian football within the Unified Rabastorian Football Federation (URFF), the OFA also determines and enforces rules governing Osarian national leagues, and movement between tiers for Osarian registered clubs within the URFF pyramid.
Competitions
The OFA operates a number of competitions, including the following:

|---|---|---|
| OFA Cup | The association members' cup. A knockout tournament open to all professional clubs in Osarius. | |
