The United Republican Soccer Federation (Gallic: Fédération républiques-unienne du soccer, Latin: Foederatio Pediludii Respublicana Unita), commonly referred to as the URSF, is the governing body of association football in Omerica. Formed in the aftermath of the Philibiscostal Bus Tipping and the Omerican football betting scandal, the URSF is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the amateur and professional game in Omerica. Based in the Union Sports Complex in Port Alexandre, the URSF, as the successor to the Omerican Football Federation, is full member of the World Cup Committee, Independent Associations Championship Organising Committee and, through the OPSL, the International Federation of Club Football, sending representative teams to each of the organisations’ respective competitions.
Through its constituent regional and republican associations and the affiliated Omerican Professional Soccer League, Omerican Intermediate Football Association and Omerican Amateur Football Federation, the United Republican Soccer Federation directly or indirectly sanctions all competitive football matches in Omerica. The URSF runs a number of competitions, most notably the Federation Cup, and has veto power over any changes to the rules and operations of the OPSL, OIFA and OAFF.
Structure and governance
Membership
The full voting membership of the URSF consists of the 26 republican associations of Omerica, with seven regional associations, the Omerican Professional Soccer League, Omerican Intermediate Football Association and Omerican Amateur Football Federation possessing observer rights in the URSF Congress. Since the secession of Northavon, all republican associations’ territories correspond to one of the republics of Omerica.

Executive Board
The URSF has a figurehead President, appointed by the URSF Congress and almost always a prominent retired footballer. The day-to-day governance of the URSF is left to its nine-member Executive Board, which consists of four officers elected by the member associations and representatives of players (men and women), coaches, referees and sports physicians. The Executive Director of the URSF is the executive head of the organisation and is responsible for the policy direction of the association and chairing Executive Board meetings. Day-to-day management of the URSF falls to the General Secretary, assisted by the Vice Secretary on procedural matters and the Treasurer on financial affairs.
