The Esportivan Unity Party (Nova Anglicana) is a social liberal and Espofederalist political party in Nova Anglicana. It is a minor centrist party that advocates for increased involvement in Esportivan affairs by Nova Anglicana.

History

Following Nova Anglicana's accession to the Esportivan Union in 2020, a group of individuals, mostly from the NAAZE, gathered to discuss forming a pro-Esportivan political party. They saw the Esportivan Union as a common project that could increase regional security, promote regional prosperity, and contribute to a peaceful and culturally flourishing Esportiva. They put their faith in the Esportivan Union as an institution that could overcome national problems and unite different countries in pursuit of the common good. To that end, they launched the Nova Anglican branch of the Esportivan Unity Party, with the explicit goal of pursuing a federal Esportiva and announced their intention to co-operate with members of other nations in the region to establish their own national branches. So far, the Esportivan Unity Party (Darmen) is the only other branch, operating in Esportivan Darmen.

After achieving a negligible result in 2020's Assembly of Esportiva elections, the party decided that it was best to co-operate with other parties in the upcoming 2021 parliamentary, provincial, and local elections to achieve success. As such, the party joined Build Together, a coalition of Build! (a moderate conservative party) and the NL Democrats (a regionalist party), for the elections to the House of Deputies. They also joined Build Esportiva Together! for the provincial and local elections in the NAAZE, which consisted of the EUP and Build!, hoping to gain some representation in the province where most of their leadership came from.

Build Together polled roughly 2.8% of all votes, earning 3 deputies. However, the top 3 spots on the proportional list were all reserved for Build! candidates, as the largest party, and so no deputies formally affiliated with the EUP gained seats. BET polled roughly 2.8% of the vote in the NAAZE provincial election, earning 1 seat, which went to a Build! member. BET successfully elected 3 city council members in local elections, one of whom, Paulina Rossi, belonged to the EUP.
