International University Challenge Championship
The International University Challenge Championship or IUCC is an international tournament for association football (soccer) teams representing universities and colleges.
The tournament originally began as a small invitational administered by Ad'ihan, and grew to a larger competition accepting applications from any university system. Beginning in the eighteenth edition, the IUCC was organized by Vephrall. Ad'ihan representatives took over for the 31st edition, after which the IUCC folded, shortly before Champions' Cup 27. The Academy Football League in Paripana became the new de facto university championship; in addition to the Academy Sporting Association, it included conferences and teams from Ad'ihan, Tarrentum, and Civil Citizenry.
Many years later, around the time of Champions' Cup 73, the IUCC was restarted under the auspices of Kita-Hinode administration, picking up with the 33rd edition (there was no 32nd cycle). Following five editions, it underwent a short hiatus. The 38th IUCC is scheduled to be run by Zwangzug's university system.
