(Hi! This is a copy of the 2024 DSAFF Frost Cup page, which I'm changing to fit this year's edition to make it quicker and more intuitive for me, this is not a mistake.
Last updated as of now is Vicures Islands in List of Qualified Teams)
The 2025 DSAFF Frost Cup, also known as Sparta-RistiLand 2024, was the fifth edition of the Frost Cup, the second-most significant tournament for senior national teams organized by the Democratic Socialist Assembly Football Federation (DSAFF). The tournament took place from December 12, 2024, to January 11, 2025 , with Outer Sparta and RistiLand serving as the primary host nations.
For the first time in the competition's history, a nation (RistiLand) served as a main Frost Cup host two times in a row (Lannistter was the main host of the 2023 DSAFF Frost Cup, but only retained a minor paper the following edition). (and whatever happens after the tournament ends lmao)
History
The 2025 DSAFF Frost Cup marked the fifth edition of the tournament and, as this edition also included 32 competition spots, several national teams made their debut on this scenery, Outer Sparta, the host, Aarkythra (after being eliminated in the 2023 DSAFF Frost Cup playoffs to Furilisca), Iskalland, Bextoria, Beatan, Girl Kissers and Galega
Qualification to the tournament saw Aarykthra itself and Inglaland secure their spots through the COTEFU route.
Host nation
Two bids were submitted to host the tournament. Both were presented on the same day, the 20th of October, one by Outer Sparta and RistiLand, and a second bid, which planned to host the Frost Cup's fifth edition between Aarykthra and Washeyye. The Sparta-Ristiland bid won the popular vote, celebrated the First of November 2025, with a result of 8-5 votes.
This event turned out to be the third consecutive co-hosted Frost Cup, and even the sixth mayor national team competition (including Comrades Cups), since the dual Yucatán-Hortizo 2023 DSAFF Comrades Cup, marking a clear tendency in the development of these tournaments.
Venues
A total of 12 venues, one per city, were selected to host the 2025 Frost Cup matches. RistiLand provided six stadiums, reestablishing focus on their modern footballing infrastructure, bringing for the second time to this scene large-capacity venues such as the Elsburg Stadium (75,500) and the Bergnamensen (72,727), located in major cities like Elsburg and Bergnamio.
Outer Sparta also brought six stadiums for this tournament. The first-timer nation, despite the supposed lack of international experience in the DSAFF competitions, took this chance to present to the rest of the world their modern stadiums, starring the Sparta National Stadium (80.000), or the Canopy Park (65.000), all of them representing giant metropolises of up to several millions of inhabitants.
The following venues were selected to host the matches:
Outer Sparta:
- Sparta National Stadium in Sparta City, Outer Sparta (capacity: 80,000)
- Air Sparta Field in West Sparta, Outer Sparta (capacity: 70,000)
- Canopy Park in Kouarea, Outer Sparta (capacity: 65,000)
- Phalatis Stadium in Phalatis, Outer Sparta (capacity: 62,000)
- Stratias Stadium in Stratias, Outer Sparta (capacity: 55,000)
- Perodon Stadium in Perodon, Outer Sparta (capacity: 50,000)
RistiLand:
- Elsburg Stadium in Elsburg, RistiLand (capacity: 75,500)
- Bergnamensen in Bergnamio, RistiLand (capacity: 72,727)
- Vittori Hoppu Stadion in Harastov, RistiLand (capacity: 68,600)
- Kvaras Stadion in Kvaras, RistiLand (capacity: 51,509)
- Nord Vomstabærne in Noregott, RistiLand (capacity: 46,480)
- Istadio Tinaika in Tinaiìka, RistiLand (capacity: 33,363)
List of qualified teams
Thirty-two teams took part in the tournament. Thirty teams, including the host nation, qualified directly, answering DSAFF’s call. Two teams qualified via the COTEFU path.
Teams had to provide the list containing a minimum of 11 players and a maximum of 26 by the beginning of the tournament.
Bold indicates champion for that year. Italic indicates host for that year.

Format
The 2025 Frost Cup continued the already established 32-team format. Teams were seeded into four pots based on their DSAFF MexiCola™ Ranking positions as of December 1, 2025, with hosts Outer Sparta and RistiLand automatically placed in Group A and Group E, respectively. The group stage draw divided the 32 teams into eight groups of four. Each group followed a single round-robin format, awarding three points for a win, one for a draw, and none for a loss.
The top two teams from each group advanced to the knockout stage, which included the round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the final. The knockout matches were played as single-elimination games, with extra time and penalty shootouts used to determine the winner, if necessary. A third-place playoff was held for the losing semi-finalists, too.
