Season summary
Season started again at Benĝago. Ĉapro's reigning champion Randolfo Travers was the favourite coming into the first race of the season but had to settle for lower positions on the podium following AM Evo's Ferminto Delgado dominating start to the season. Delgado took pole position and won both races to lead the standing with maximum points after round 1. Travers bounced back in similar fashion at Lartano to take the lead after two rounds. In the following rounds Delgado was again on pace, scoring a couple of pole positions but retirements in the races meant he was not able to capitalize fully. Ĉapro's Garegin Gerulf however found marvellous mid-season pace, scoring five wins in the span of eight races from round 3 onwards.
Alenko Marino's Roksan Barko, who had finished runner-up in season 1, was also finding her footing but her season was cut short in the Ŝanŝariara GP. A violent crash on lap 12 of the feature race brought out the red flags after Barko was unable to exit her vehicle. She was rushed to hospital where further analysis showed she had broken her femur in the crash. Alenko Marino junior Cesar Demoscorto, who was on loan at Sargazono for the season, was brought in for the rest of the season to replace Barko while she recovered from her injuries.
Delgado's poor mid-season performances and a surge of pace for the Ĉapro pair of Gerulf and Travers had dropped the AM Evo driver back from the title challenge. A strong showing at Gesbrokia GP narrowed the gap but he was still 47 points off Travers with only three rounds to go. AM Evo however found massive amounts of pace in the closing stages of season. Delgado, along with his teammate Hildefons Agtveno, dominated the latter third of the season with 13 podiums between them in the last eight races. Ĉapro drivers couldn't match the speed of AM Evo, thus making Delgado the deserving Formulo Galanta champion.
