The Omerican Professional Football League Cup (French: Coupe de la Ligue omericaine de football professionnel), known domestically as the League Cup, is an annual knockout competition involving professional Omerican association football clubs. Organised by and named after the Omerican Professional Football League, participation in the competition is open to member clubs of its four divisions, which equates to those in the top four levels of the Omerican football league system.

The winners of the OPFL Cup enter a playoff against the Federation Cup winners for a berth to the FFI Confederations Trophy unless one or both cup winners have qualified for the League of Victors via league finish. United Philibiscostal are the current titleholders, defeating AS Républicains in the 203 OPFL Cup Final.

Format

The competition is contested as a straight knockout cup tournament, with teams eliminated from the tournament after a single loss. All participating clubs enter the competition in the first round; all clubs, regardless of division, must therefore win six ties to win the tournament. In the first four rounds, each tie is played as a single leg at one of the two teams' home ground without replays, with level ties proceeding directly to a penalty shoot-out. The semifinals are played home-and-away; if a tie is level on aggregate at the end of the second leg, the away goals rule applies, with a penalty shootout held if the tie remains level (extra time is not played).

In contrast to the Federation Cup, which draws each round only after the previous one has been played, the OPFL Cup uses a fixed bracket which is set by a draw before the commencement of the tournament. The first two rounds are played in sixteen "paths" of four clubs each, with each path containing one club from each division. In the first round, Fourth Division clubs host Premier Division clubs in the same path, while Third Division clubs host Second Division clubs in the same path; in the second round, first round winners in the same path play each other, with the club in the lower division hosting the match. In the eighth-finals (third round), the winner of path 1 hosts the winner of path 2 in match 1, the winner of path 3 hosts the winner of path 4 in match 2, et cetera; quarterfinal and semifinal fixtures are determined in a similar manner.

The final match traditionally takes place at the midpoint of the league season and is the only one played at a neutral ground, selected by the Omerican Professional Football League administration. Since season 10, the final has been held at the titleholders' home ground; prior to this, the venue was selected so as to be approximately equidistant between the finalists' hometowns. Drawn finals proceed to extra time, followed by a penalty shoot-out if the match remains level.
