Oakwood is the third-largest city in the province of Acadie. Situated in the geographic centre of the Acadie province, Oakwood is known as the 'Centre City of Acadie' for its significance as the land transportation hub of southeastern Quebec and Shingoryeo. In a 2058 estimate, the city had a population of 401,520, a metropolitan population of 507,400, and a land area of 280 km2.
