Roleplay bonuses, also known as RP bonuses, are skill modifiers commonly awarded by event hosts on NationStates Sports that are connected to the quality of a submitted roleplay of an event.

Application

After a participant submits a roleplay ("RP") to an event, the event host(s) will grade it after the cutoff time has expired. This score is then applied to a participant's total skill modifier for that event. When the event is scorinated, subject to style modifiers and their opponent's skill and style modifiers, the chance for a more favorable outcome generally increases, provided the quality of the participant's roleplay is relatively high. It is at the event host's discretion(s) as to what is considered a qualitative roleplay.
