Tingurie, officially the Commonwealth of Tingurie (Tingurienne: Communauté de Tingurie), is a unitary parliamentary constitutional monarchy located in Esportiva. It is bordered by ___ to the east, ___ to the south, ___ to the west, and ___ to the north. The Commonwealth has a land area of ___ km2 and a population of more than 9.5 million people, making it one of the most densely populated countries in Esportiva. The capital and largest city is Maisel, and other major settlements include Sarlet, Monchy, and Vaniglo.
Tingurie is governed under a constitutional monarchy, with Prince Henri III as head of state, though the actual exercise of the Prince's constitutional powers is generally performed by two Captains-Regent, which are elected by single transferable vote every six months on staggered terms, meaning typically four elections occur every year in Tingurie. The Commonwealth has a unicameral legislature, the General Council, comprised of one hundred Councilors elected in a majoritarian list system at least every five years. While constitutionally unitarian, the Commonwealth does have two regions with significant devolved governing powers, Canolia and Gainland.
Tingurie has one of the highest GDPs per capita in Esportiva, though income inequality is rampant in the country. An infamous tax haven, the commonwealth has no personal income tax, and modest taxes on business. Combined with a warm climate and a historic economic basis in catering to the wealthy, the Commonwealth is commonly described as a "billionaire's playground". A major banking and finance center, in recent years Tingurie has also developed a modest industrial economy, including the production and export of oil and natural gas from offshore drilling, though the economy largely remains built around servicing wealthy residents and tourists.
