The Cobrio national football team represents the Free State of Cobrio and is controlled by the Cobre Football Federation (CFF), the governing body for football in Cobrio. They are known as the Panthers, and first played a World Cup Committee sanctioned international football match in Baptism of Fire 68, which they ultimately won. The Panthers' home ground is Tukari Kaita National Stadium, on the outskirts of the capital city, Camaron.

Rivalries
Osarius
In the 2220s, a movement began in the then-Osarian region of Dynapolis – before Cobrio established its independence – to establish a separate national team. In 2228, the leader of Cobrio, Tukari Kaita, led a representative national team on an exhibition tour across Osarius, establishing a new rivalry. In 2230, the short-lived Cobre struggle for autonomy came to an end, resulting in an agreement with Osarius and the Rabastorian Union to grant a form of Tribal sovereignty within Cobrio. The two sides met in an international for the first time on 6 August 2230, with Osarius running out 3-1 winners. The two nations have been fierce rivals on the pitch since, despite sharing a domestic league system.
Akach
Other than Osarius, Cobrio have an "amicable rivalry" with Akach, who were also subjugated by the Osarians in the past. Owing to their shared history and ancestry, the two nations have friendly relations with regard to trade and diplomacy. They both contest the Rabastor Unity Trophy as well as the Friendship Bowl.
Style of Play
In the past, Cobrio largely adopted a similar approach to Osarius – notably, the Osarian 4-3-3 was a common system at all levels across the nation – albeit with a stronger focus on athleticism than the Osarian focus on technical skill. Similarly, Cobre sides would often value tactical discipline over the creative freedom that Osarian coaches cultivated. Over time, as the national identity grew stronger, Cobre sides began to develop a distinct approach of their own, culminating in Marvelous Koleoso's "unshackled football", prioritising relationships between player roles and granting much more tactical freedom between them, thus facilitating an adventurous attacking style.
Traditions
Cobre fans are known for their "vibrant" support, and penchant for bringing instruments into stadia to perform folk songs – or reworkings of them to lionise their team. After multiple progressive, fan-forward initiatives, the CFF have facilitated the creation and cultivation of several fan traditions, in line with the national identity. Most notably, the Oya Ounje in Camaron has special promotions on home match days, with subsidised discounts provided for away fans to sample local produce and cuisines, as the Cobre fans perform what is known as okenri (short for òkènri yanandị ọbịa; "sharing a meal with guests"). Okenri dates back to antiquity, when sharing a meal with a guest on your land or in your home was considered a covenant. The guest would then be protected from harm through an implicit vow, upheld by Irunu and Oluwu. As a result, incidences of crowd violence at sporting events in Cobrio are vanishingly rare.
