The DSAFF Frost Cup, often simply called the Frost Cup, is an international association football competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of the Democratic Socialist Assembly Football Federation (DSAFF), the football's governing body on planet Delusia.

Initially launched as an exclusive tournament for Delusia nations, the tournament subsequently expanded, becoming an invitation-only event.

Format

There are two phases: the group stage followed by the knockout stage. In the group stage, teams compete within groups of four teams each. Each group plays a single-round-robin tournament, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the knockout stage. Depending on the format, teams finishing in third place may also advance to the knockout stage.

The ranking of each team in each group is determined as follows:

a) Most points earned in matches against other teams in the tie
b) Greatest goal difference in matches against other teams in the tie
c) Greatest number of goals scored in matches against other teams in the tie

If two or more teams are equal on the basis of the above three criteria, their rankings are determined as follows:

a) Greatest total goal difference in the three group matches
b) Greatest number of goals scored in the three group matches

If teams will remain level after all these criteria, DSAFF will hold a drawing of lots.

The knockout stage is a single-elimination tournament in which teams play each other in one-off matches, with penalty shootouts used to decide the winner if a match is still tied after 90 minutes in the quarter-finals and semi-finals, and after extra time in the final. It begins with the quarter-finals, then semi-finals, the third-place match (contested by the losing semi-finalists), and the final.
