Fontvielle Impact (French: Impact de Fontvielle, IPA: [ɛ̃pakt də fɔ̃tvjɛl]) is a professional Valladarfootball club based in Fontvielle, Foix, who play in the Valladar Liga-1, the highest level of the Valladar football league system. Founded in 1962 as Tamount FC as a team for the leisure of the workers of the Tamount factory in Fontvielle, and changing its name to Fontvielle Impact to increase its appeal to the inhabitants of Fontvielle, the club applied for membership into the Foixien Football Association and joined the Foix state championship shortly after. Fontvielle Impact were a founding member of the Valladar Super League, and have competed in the top flight every season. They play their home matches at the Stade de la Frontière, a stadium able to seat 41,378 people and located in the southeast of the city.
Up to the 66th Valladar Liga-1 season, Impact are the club with the most Liga-1 championships, with 16 titles. Les Bleus became the first team to win back-to-back Liga-1 titles with two championships in seasons 8 and 9, and between seasons 21 and 26 they went on a run of six championships in a row under the guidance of Citiz manager Ramsey Parris, a streak that has remained unrivaled ever since. They also became the first Valladar winners of the Champions’ Cup, winning the competition in its 37th and 40th editions, as well as the first Valladar club to win its successor competition, the IFCF Champions League, in its tenth and thirteenth editions. Impact have fierce rivalries with fellow Foixien club AS Bezieres, whom they face at least twice a year in the Derby du Foix, and Metropolis Alligators, whom they face in the Derby de Valladares, as well as crosstown rivals Olympique de Fonvielle. Outside Valladares, the fans once considered Paripanan club Yuba United to be their main rivals. The club's traditional kit colours are blue and white, with gray being the first colour choice for alternate kits.
As a club created for the leisure of the workers of Tamount Inc., Fontvielle Impact has been wholly owned by the Tamount family during its entire existence.
Given Fontvielle Impact's blue-collar origins, the bulk of their fanbase used to be people with links to the Tamount family or factory, which eventually enlarged to include fans from all over Fontvielle and nearby areas during the team's stay in the state championship as well as the early Super League seasons. The Hexachampionnat was a pivotal event for the growth of Impact's fanbase and was the thing that triggered its expansion outside of the borders of the Foix state. Nowadays, thanks to the success achieved by the team in both the domestic and international spheres, Fontvielle Impact can count with massive support in the Foix state as well as in most of the Valladar mainland, with the team being highly popular in cities such as Metropolis, Lierravus, Los Chorros, Arma, Campo Grande, Maldonado, Columbus, and Carloburgo.
L'Impact has three main rivals, and matches against any of them are much-awaited and usually hit high TV rating numbers: AS Bezieres (with whom they contest the Derby du Foix), crosstown rivals Olympique de Fontvielle (whom they face in the city's derby) and Metropolis Alligators, who have become Impact's main rivals for league supremacy in what has become the Derby de Valladares. A rivalry with Marinos Metropolis has also grown in recent times due to the recent international success of the Marineros, who became the only other Valladar winners of the Champions’ Cup.
