The Sylestone national cricket team represents the nation of Sylestone in cricket. They first participated in the GCF World Test Challenge XI, on matchday 12 against Ethane and have gone on to become a more prominent side in the cricketing world. Some of the side's greatest achievements include their two EspoT20 trophies, as well as coming fourth in the second ODI World Trophy, held in Gruenberg.
Background Information
Style
Sylestone plays a hard but fair form of cricket, with all-round talent from numbers one to eleven. At the moment, Sylestone's batting is generally considered to be their strength across all formats, but only slightly, for they have some fierce bowlers, too.
Rivalries
Sylestone's most prominent rivalries include those against fellow Esportivans The Grearish Union and Ethane, while Baggieland is an emerging rival of the Hawthorns.
Home Stadia
Sylestone has 25 grounds that have hosted domestic cricket. However, only 8 of them have been used internationally thus far. The stadia are as follows:
International
Chamberley Cricket Ground, Chamberley
Halpenley City Oval, Halpenley
Domestic
Coastline Showground, Garretty
Eastern Sylestone Cricket Ground, Marbury

GCF ODI World Trophy II
Being eleventh-ranked coming into the GCF ODI World Trophy II, Sylestone got off to a poor start over Garbelia but then proceeded to go on an unprecedented, eight-game streak without losing to assure themselves of a spot in the final four. This streak was highlighted by a 68-run victory over The Plough Islands, a 171-run win over Darmen and a two-wicket triumph over favourites Krytenia. However, a semifinal loss to the Krytenians and a further loss to hosts Gruenberg saw Sylestone finish in fourth place, capping off their tournament with four losses in a row.

GCF ODI World Trophy III
After their success in the second GCF ODI World Trophy II, Sylestone came into the GCF ODI World Trophy III as a tournament favourite, only to win one of their first four games, putting themselves on the brink of elimination. However, despite a brilliant century from Luke Tiati in their quarterfinal against Gruenberg, Sylestone fell 13 runs short, finishing their tournament with six wins and four losses from ten games.

Sylestone's second international T20 tournament was the GCF World T20 Championship XIV, hosted by Liventia. Although Sylestone received early losses at the hands of Elejamie and Pratapgadh, wins towards the back end of the group stage ensured they would reach the playoff round. A win against Uncertainty gave Sylestone hope, but their campaign ended in the round of 16 with a tight loss to West Phoenicia.
