Summary

This summary of events is based on media reports from participating countries.
Day 1
  • Tumbra gained two gold medals as Bill Bonnington won in men's road cycling and Neville Marriott won the men's 10m air pistol by a 0.1 point margin.
  • Srednjaci claimed its first Olympic gold medal with Filipa Hrentic's win in the women's 400m freestyle.
  • Eura marked its return to the Olympics after a five-cycle absence. Sophie Dawson's bronze in women's weightlifting was its first Olympic medal in decades.
  • Kelssek enjoyed a successful start in swimming as Brandon Chang won the men's 400m individual medley and the women's 4x100 freestyle relay team won silver after Sargossa's medal contending team were disqualified.
Day 12
  • Sylestone’s Jack Hutchison won the gold in the men’s 100 metres sprint with a time of 9.71 seconds.
  • A torrid day for Kelssek’s canoeists was capped by Kirsten Mac Brataich capsizing in the final of the women’s K-1 200 m.
Day 13
  • Analeigh Jones, Roberta Hobbs, Enriqua Ward, and Beatriz Butler of Scornerse set a new Olympic record in the heats of the women's team pursuit, but were beaten in the gold medal final by the team from Kelssek.
Day 15
  • Diver Verica Helebić won silver in the women's 10 m platform, Raspotochje's first Olympic medal.
  • A day after losing in the women's final, Kelssek won gold in men's water polo with a big 16-6 win over Srednjaci, whose media commented ruefully that their opponents were "from another planet".
Day 17
  • In their third ever olympic medal match, Quebec and Shingoryeo won gold in men's indoor volleyball with a 3-1 win over Lisander. The tournament MVP, setter Jin Chang-Wook, declared for pros right afterwards, and subsequently signed with Vreton Bulls of Bollonich.

Participating nations

See also: Nations at the 15th Summer Olympics

The question of how many nations participated is complicated because in a rule which varies at the discretion of the hosting organizers, the organizing committee allowed delegations to consist of more than one national Olympic committee (NOC) using different NOC codes. NOCs which participated in a combined delegation were subject to the entry limits usually imposed on a single NOC, and their athletes were treated as if they were from the same NOC within competition rules. There were four such combined delegations at the 15th Summer Olympics, combining a total of 22 NOCs: ABEN Union, Team Diarcesia, Dotras, and Teremara. Understood in this way, 93 delegations took part in the Olympics, while 111 NOCs were represented.
